Welcome........Pics-4-news is an Independant,online, photo agency.We aim to sell, or more accurately licence the managed rights for the press to use YOUR newsworthy images.
We are here to represent you and provide you with the best service and support that we can.
The System;
It is simple to use and quick and easy to remember.There are six stages.The first 3 of which are when you:-
'SEE'....a news worthy event.
'SNAP'....take a photo at the highest resolution possible.remembering to clean the lens!
'SEND'....forward the image(s) to us by
- MMS to 07979 33 4747.(from your mobile).
- email to pics@pics-4-news.co.uk(from your mobile).
- Sumit on line by returning to the home page and click on the 'Sell a pic' button.
pics-4-news will then:-
'SELECT'.....The Press will be looking for good quality news worthy pics.We will select all good pics with potential,and return immediately those that are of poor quality or inappropriate material.
Photos that have been accepted will be uploaded onto our world wide web page gallery without delay.'CIRCULATE'.....We will immediately email, watermarked 'protected'copies of your image to the local,Regional & National papers likely to be interested in your pic,using our database that holds contact details for hundreds of papers and photo desks across the UK and World wide.
'SELL'.....The pics-4-news sales teams will negotiate the best price for your pic depending on, the quality of the image,and it's news worthiness.The size and position of the image within the paper and the scale of the print run will also influence the Fee that the papers are charged.
What does it cost?
It is absolutely free for you to link into the system,browse the Freeview Gallery and deposit 'pics for sale'.So enjoy!.We will be acting on your behalf to sell your pic. Only if we sucessfully licence your pic for use by the press will pics-4-news recieve 50% of any monies earned on your behalf as a commission for our services to you. The other 50% of all fees earned by your pic will be paid to you.Therefore if there is 'No Win' there will be 'No Fee.'
